Biography
Ting Chen is Chief Executive Officer of Laos Alliance Pharmaceutical Group, overseeing the group’s overall management and business development. Based in Vientiane, he combines a background in chemical engineering and pharmaceutical research with experience in managing manufacturing businesses and developing international partnerships. The group’s activities encompass pharmaceuticals, active pharmaceutical ingredients, health supplements, cosmetics and related healthcare products.
His work includes supporting the group’s expansion into Cambodia through strategic cooperation with Mane Group. In November 2025, the two groups signed a memorandum of understanding covering pharmaceutical and healthcare development, including product distribution, proposed local pharmaceutical manufacturing and preliminary discussions on hospital development. These initiatives reflect his involvement in cross-border industrial investment and regional healthcare cooperation.
Before his current role, Mr. Chen worked as an engineer at Beijing Sunshine Novo Biochemical Group, focusing on synthetic drug research and engineering. He studied at Chongqing University and Beijing Jiaotong University, with chemical engineering listed as his professional specialisation. As Vice President of CAIIA, he brings pharmaceutical industry experience and a regional business perspective to the association’s investment and commercial cooperation activities.
