CAIIA is an independent, non-governmental, non-partisan, private-sector-led, non-profit membership association established in Cambodia to support responsible investment cooperation among China, ASEAN, and international partners.
Is CAIIA officially registered
Yes. The Ministry of Interior entered CAIIA into the Association Register under Prakas No. 11996 Pror.Kor dated 16 September 2026.
Is CAIIA a government agency
No. CAIIA is an independent non-governmental association. It may cooperate with competent public institutions, but it does not exercise sovereign authority or issue regulatory decisions.
